Bloat Reducing Digestive Enhancer

Consume 1 glass of this digestive enhancer 20 minutes before meal to promote digestion and help with gut healing

Ingredients:

  • 2 Table spoon raw organic apple cider vinegar with mother
  • 1 litre of filtered water
  • 1 Table spoon grated ginger
  • Liquid Stevia drops ( optional)

Method :

  • Combine all ingredients shake & store in a glass jar in the refrigerator .
  • Ingredients :
  • Coconut / Almond Flour-150 grams
  • Honey 120 grams
  • Brown Sugar / Jaggery -12 grams
  • 1st Cinnamon powder
  • 15 gram roasted walnut

Apple Filling :

  • 370-400 gram of Apple peeled & thinly sliced
  • 2 table spoon almond /coconut flour
  • 24 gram Jaggery powder / Brown sugar
  • 1 tea spoon cinnamon powder
  • 1/4t nutmeg

Crumble topping :

  • 3 tea spoon white butter(45 g)
  • 72 gram brown sugar
  • 60 gram Arrowroot Flour/water chestnut Flours

PREPARATION

Pre heat the oven to 350 F / 175C  line a 8 *8 inch baking dish with parchment paper and apples white butter to it.

For The Shortbread Crust Blend all ingredients of the shortbread crust in food ( excess walnut) processor or blender . See to it that all the ingredients are thoroughly mixed together . It should give a smooth consistency . Press the Short bread layer evenly amongst the bottom of the baking dish bake for 10 minutes.

For Apple Filling While your shortbread is getting baked peel the apples and slice them as thinly , as possible . add the slice the slice apples to a medium sized bowl .add almond flour, brown sugar ,cinnamon  nutmeg .Toss until the apples are well coated.

For The Crumble use a hand blender, mix the butter & brown sugar until smooth. Add the arrowroot flour & mix until the crumble is combined about 1 minute

To Assemble :Sparkle one half of the crumble over the shortbread layer the sliced apple on top .  you will have multiple layers of slice apples.try to keep it level, once the apple layer is laid, sprinkle the remainders of the crumble evenly on top.

Bake for 30 minutes

Remove from the over and allow it cool completely .

Refrigerate it for minimum of two hours before your could have them.

These bars are best next day either ( chilled or reheated to warm ) after the texture has set and flavours have come together overnight . keep to stored in airtight container in the refrigerator.

I have used almond flour for the bar & Arrowroot flour for the crumble .
