Healthy Methi Paratha

INGREDIENTS:

  1. Fresh fenugreek leaves – 250-300 g (Washed, cleaned and properly drained)
  2. Whole wheat flour – 270 g
  3. Chickpea flour/Besan – 270 g
  4. Wheat Bran – 100 g
  5. White curd – 140 g (Drain the curd overnight)
  6. Ripe banana – 2 medium/100g
  7. Ginger paste – 2tbsp
  8. Green chilies – 3-4, finely chopped
  9. Cumin powder – 2tsp
  10. Coriander power – 2tsp
  11. Turmeric root paste – 10 g
  12. Whole ajwain/carom seeds – 2 tsp
  13. Olive oil- 1 tbsp/15ml

METHOD:

  1. Take all the ingredients in a big container and knead properly.
  2. Cover and let it rest for 1 hour.
  3. Make 25 equal portions.
  4. With the help of a rolling pin make round flat bread.
  5. Cook over medium flame.
  6. Add ghee for extra taste. (optional)
