Rainbow Salad

Salad INGREDIENTS

  • 200 Grams of red grapes – Quartered
  • 200 gram of baby organic spinach – washed & drained properly
  • 30 grams of walnuts Roasted & cut into pieces
  • 200 grams of green apple cut into cubes.
  • 200 grams of pomegranate
  • 250 grams of home made cottage cheese – crumbled from low fat milk

Dressing Ingredients

  • 150 grams of home made hung curd
  • 1 tsp chaat masala.
  • Rock salt according to taste
  • 15 ML honey
  • No of serving – 4
  • Calories / serving – 262 kcal
  • CHO – 35 gm
  • protein- 12.4 gm
  • Fat – 10 gm
  • Sodium- 28i gm
  • potassium – 577.6 mg
  • Fiber – 5.2 gm
  • Sugar from Fruits – 24.8 gm
  • Vitamin A – 5.7 %
  • Vitamin C – 34.8 %
  • Calcium- 19.7 %
  • Iron – 10.7 %

Method

  • Add all the ingredients salad ingredients into a big size serving bowl
  • Mix all the ingredients of the dressing in a separate smaller bowl.
  • pour into the salad just before having to maintain the crunch.

Note: If you don’t take chat Masala, substitute for Jeera / Cumin powder & Ajwain / carum powder.

This meal is best suited as a healthy nutritious, protein rich breakfast for the entire family of someone wants to carry this to office, please make sure to take the dressing in a separate container, the crispness of spinach & fruits would make it more.
